Comarco Supply Base rounded off 2014 with the discharge of the MV Thorco Serenity which called in at the Comarco Jetty on the 22nd December.

The advantages of using the base were again on display as the vessel, carrying approximately 8,850cbm of project cargo, called in on arrival to Mombasa and discharged the majority of the out-of-gauge and heavy cargo directly to the waiting trucks.

Using our trained operators and stevedores the 24-hr-a-day operation was completed in just over four days with no recordable cases or lost time incidents.
