The Base totals approximately 16 acres including over 40,000 m² of open storage, 2,000 m² of covered storage space, office space and facilities, cargo handling equipment and a certified weighbridge that combine to offer a range of services in the area.
The main jetty has a total length of 93 m, with a minimum depth of 7.5 m alongside draft and capable of handling ships of up to 130 m LOA. The wharf has an extensive and direct frontage to Liwatoni Bay and the main commercial shipping channel, situated 1 NM to the east of Kilindini Harbour, Mombasa.
Maast operates the wharf on a 24-hour basis and vessels may be loaded and discharged by experienced stevedores and winchmen as required.
Fresh potable water supply from onsite well with a 250m³ tank situated on the main wharf for supply to vessels via a 4” pump capable of typical through put of 100m³/hr.
Onsite Reverse Osmosis (R.O) plant with triple stage pre-filter, mineral and U.V. treatment post R.O. able to produce 250lit/hr supplying all the base drinking water requirements including vessels.

Port equipment is dedicated to the facility and comprises certified cranes, forklifts, trucks as well as other plant and equipment which may be provided depending upon the customer's requirements.

IACS approved dive spreads, equipment and divers offering a full scope of underwater work, including construction work, pipelines, blasting, welding, cleaning, hull/propeller cleaning and inspection services.
Providing mobile and crawler cranes up to 270 t capacity and multi-axle trailers up to 500 t capacity.
Maast owns and operates a large fleet of earthmoving plant, construction equipment, trucks, forklifts and cranes, all of which are available for project support or independent hire.
